INTERREG Scottish Stakeholder Meeting, 2-4.30pm 30 June 2016, Atlantic Quay, Glasgow

Scotland Europa is organising an open meeting at 2pm on Thursday 30 June in Atlantic Quay, Glasgow for Scottish stakeholders with an interest in Territorial Cooperation programmes.

The purpose will be to bring everyone together to share an update from the Scottish Government Territorial Programmes Team about the new ETC governance model proposed by the Department of Communities & Local Goverment (DCLG) and to discuss where Scottish Interreg stakeholders could usefully and profitably engage.

Main topics for discussion will be Steering Group Sub Committee membership and the formation of a Scottish Interreg stakeholder forum.

Steering Group Sub Committee Membership

DCLG is calling for nominations for the programme Steering Committee Sub Committees and is currently writing out to its stakeholders.   The expectation, therefore, is that nominated Committee members should be in place by the end of June.  

If you would like to express interest in participating in one or several(!) of the sub committees, and/or have any specific questions you would like answered before committing to this, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting fiona.watson@scotent.co.uk.   Attached you will find some information on the sub committees. (Terms of Reference should be available shortly.)
