New course to promote youth opportunities in Erasmus+

On 4 May the European Commission launched a new online course on Erasmus+ funding opportunities for youth; aiming to guide participants through Key Action 1 Mobility Projects for Young People and Youth Workers (youth exchanges, European Voluntary Service and mobility of youth workers). The course is aimed at young people keen to learn more about Erasmus+, and provides an overview of the purpose, priorities and expected impacts of the programme. The course will also create space for networking and aims to help young people to participate in European youth cooperation and international youth work activities, offered through the Erasmus+ programme.

The initial round of this first Erasmus+ MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is now open for enrolement and will run until 1 June 2015. Course resources include video materials on topics ranging from general information about the Erasmus+ programme to specific steps about how to develop good-quality projects.

Quizzes have been devleoped as part of the MOOC to help participants understand and retain essential content.
